TL'DR - This is the home for all my Comics, Doodles, Cartoons and other crap Cool Content!

I'm Spole and I'm an english dude in my 20's, always been into drawing, media production and technology. I've put this website together to try and force myself to learn HTML, and from there perhaps break into more advanced web development. This website isn't meant to be a glorified CV, it's just somewhere I can post my artworks that isn't some rat-infested social media platform. I work in IT and have never really had any kind of formal 'career' in art and illustration, no university degrees of any kind under my belt... but here i am writing this out on this website i've created in my free time... Just saying, you don't need to be in debt to do this.

I'm still very much entrenched in the old practices of online culture - rarely will i share my real name with others online, i still mourn the slow death of internet forums, and my only prior web dev experience was building a sick website on Piczo in the mid 2000's. For now, this current website will do just fine for what i've got planned so far, it's nothing fancy but still beats the hell out of modern day social media. Relinquish I say! Don't shackle yourself to algorithmic whims and continue to feed your brain endless amounts of AI generated sludge as it actually has no real benefit to you or your brain whatsoever.

If you're still reading this far, know that this site is for now still under construction. I haven't even really started drawing the comic I plan to host here yet but i do have a lot of the story and most of the ending fleshed out, but one big reason i've been putting this off is because I hated the idea of posting it all to social media and was waiting to have my own website to drop it all onto... So, Plug yourself in to Spole World and prepare to have your digital conciousness truly rattled and your cyber-bones pulverised into radioactive dust. The stories will be major!
