I'm Spole and I am old and am somewhere in the UK. I like drawing things and sticking them on the fridge, alongside media production and technology. I've put this website together to try and force myself to learn HTML, and from there perhaps break into more advanced web development.

I have a job and it isn't this so i am not going to be consistent with how often i update this place but i intend to keep hosting it because it's not particularly expensive, at least not yet.

The tools out there these days are really good and anyone with a domain can get something going on Neocities or something like that with pretty much no effort.

I made this site because i was messing with html and found out roughly how to make a decent comic flipper. Hidden easter egg by the way, the comic link takes you to a 404 but if you put /comic in the URL then it will take you to it and you can check out the two pages on there currently. They are not meant to be seen by anyone. If you've read this then you deserve to know because it's like halfway down the page most people probably wouldn't read it.

I think everyone should give web design a go at some point, modern day social media websites are crap now and just serve to track you and sell you things you don't need. Relinquish I say! Don't continue to shackle yourself to algorithmic whims and feed your brain endless amounts of AI-generated sludge.

Instead, plug yourself in to Spoleworld and prepare to have your digital conciousness truly rattled and your cyber-bones pulverised into radioactive dust. The stories will be major!
